The Galerie zur Matze can be found in the Stockalper Castle.

The permanent exhibition "Passage Simplon" at the Stockalper Castle in Brig covers an area of approximately 200 m² and sheds light on the fascinating history of the Simplon Pass.

From watch and jewellery repairs, to the sale of new and brought in items, to custom made items.

The large Stockalper garden invites you to linger.

Originally, the courtyard was intended as a transshipment point for the goods that were stored in the corridors under the arcades.
