Holidays on the Brigerberg
The villages of Ried-Brig and Termen can be found on a natural terrace five minutes by car above the Alpine town of Brig. This is probably why they are popularly known as the Brigerberg (‘Brig mountain’). The two villages are especially popular with tourists in spring and summer. But are they also worth a visit in winter? Find out here.
The villages, which were still primarily agricultural villages in the 1950s, have changed considerably in recent years. The view over the Rhone Valley, the varied, sunny walks, various playgrounds, and well-developed schools and day nurseries make them popular residential communities today. Both villages are well served by the PostBus from Brig train station.
