Via ferrata Gabi

In Blatten-Belalp, the adventurous little witch Vero has hidden a treasure. An exciting hike with tricky riddles at eight stations awaits you, leading from Belalp via Alpe Bell and Antoniuswald to Blatten near Naters.

A two-hour hike leads to the start of the via ferrata, with its 1,400 vertical metres of ascent. After the taxing climb up to the Wiwannihütte, you are rewarded with breathtaking views of the region’s 4,000-metre peaks.

A hike through the larch forest to the Belalp, which is particularly rich in colour in autumn.

Thrilling traverses, vertical passages and view points:  this medium-difficulty via ferrata is a unique experience requiring sure-footedness, a head for heights and physical fitness.

The biking route leads past the Reka village into the magical Blindtal valley. Along the hiking trail, it goes past glacial mills into the Auenwald forest. Here the terrain becomes flatter and less demanding.
