The Valais Panorama Bike (VPB) is divided into four stages. It begins in the picturesque Goms Valley, nestled between the three great Alpine passes of the Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen. From the Grimsel Pass, you'll follow historic trails through the Goms Valley, with its fascinating landscape and culture, via the little-known Rappental valley to Bellwald. Here, Switzerland's most fun trails await you in the heart of the Bellwald bike park; followed by a 280-metre-long suspension bridge which is the gateway to the Binntal Nature Park, where you'll marvel at the wilderness and living traditions of the mountain villages. The final stage, which is the longest, takes you over the legendary Saflisch Pass before reaching the small town of Brig, where the imposing Stockalper Castle provides the final flourish to your adventure.

From Oberwald, take the PostBus to the Grimsel Pass. A variety of trails take you through the valley to Ulrichen, where your ascent to Moosmatte begins. At the top, a single track leads down to the Rhône. After a few kilometers on wide side roads, you will reach your first destination: Reckingen. The second day takes you over wide paths and side roads to Ernen, via Biel, Steinhaus and Mühlebach. Climb up to the Frid pastures, then take a secluded single trail into the Rappetal valley, change valley sides and pedal on a fantastic single trail to Mühlebach. A spectacular suspension bridge leads to the other side, then on to the cable car that takes you to Bellwald. The next day, take the chairlift to Richinen and head for Fürgangen on fun trails through the Bellwald bike park and single trails through forests. Cross the suspension bridge in the opposite direction and descend through the Twingi Gorge to Binntal and the small village of Binn. The final stage begins with a pleasant climb into the Lengtal valley. A magical single track ascent leads to the Saflisch Pass and descends to Rosswald on the other side. A loop via Schmidmatte and Schallberg takes you to the lower Rosswald cable car station. The final part of the route takes you on secondary roads to your final destination: the alpine town of Brig.
