You reach the mountain inn Wasenalp coming from Rothwald, Ganterwald or Egge. You hike up to the Antonius Chapel. This is where the winter snow shoe trail begins. Above the chapel you hike into the Doruwaldji. The trail takes you gently uphill past the hamlet of Bärufalle to the valley station of the Chastelegga ski lift. Follow the ski slope to the panorama restaurant Mäderlicka. Through the Jochwald forest you return to Rothwald.

This route is only accessible when the piste is open (danger of avalanches)!
The trails are marked with wooden poles with a purple coating. In addition, reflective light bands are attached. We ask you to follow the marked routes in the interest of our forest and wildlife. Waste should be put back in your rucksack.
Clothing adapted to the weather conditions is indispensable.
