From the valley station in Blatten at 1327 metres above sea level, follow the road for a short stretch in the direction of the Belstar restaurant. At the bend, turn right and follow the signs into the Rischinerwald forest to Stalden. The path leads you through slightly hilly terrain.
From the Stalden car park, you can either return to Blatten via Rischinerwald or hike to the Gibidum reservoir and enjoy the unique natural surroundings. The dam at 1436 metres above sea level is fed by the Massa and the Great Aletsch Glacier as well as various mountain streams.
The trail is ideal for a snowshoe hike with the whole family. It is a rather short but very beautiful and an easy winter hike.
