From Riederalp Mitte mountain station, take the paved Aletsch Promenade to Bettmeralp. Pass through the centre of the village and continue on towards Wurzenbord chairlift. Once you reach the edge of the forest, follow the forest path that takes you past Baschweri Adventure Park as far as the Alpmatten turn-off (on the right). The next part is all downhill! You pass the hamlet of Domo and follow the asphalt road further down the valley. About a kilometre before Betten-Dorf, after the last hairpin bend, turn off left onto the dirt track and bike along to the hamlet of Martisberg. Here the next descent awaits you, down to Lax. From there, the route leads above the main road to Fiesch. Once you reach the public transport hub, take the cable car up to Fiescheralp. Continue along the Herrenweg trail in the direction of Bettmeralp. The Bättmer-Hitta to Wurzenbord climb is the only section of the tour that is a bit steep. The final stage takes you via the Aletsch promenade back to Riederalp Mitte cable car mountain station.
