Set off from Bettmeralp mountain station and ride along the paved Aletsch promenade towards Riederalp. At Golmenegg, turn left and follow the route down to Goppisberg. Passing picturesque hamlets, the trail takes you across the sunny hillside towards the valley. On reaching Goppisberg, follow the fairly level path eastwards to begin with. Once you have crossed Baderwald Forest, you descend to Martisberg and on to Lax. From there, the route leads above the main road to the public transport hub in Fiesch. There, you catch the cable car up to Fiescheralp. The last stage of the bike trail takes you along the Herrenweg trail via Lake Bettmersee back to Bettmeralp.
