The mountain guide leads his guests safely on flat terrain and in the mountains, where he does not need any technical aids (no climbing or glacier crossings!). On the way, the hiking guide informs the guests in an entertaining way about nature, culture, customs and the history of the region, thus giving the landscape a fourth dimension. If you are lucky, he will also be able to tell you one or two ancient local legends and that too in front of a fitting backdrop.
Whether in a group, with the club, the company, the family or as a private person - a hiking guide is therefore always a valuable added value to your experiences in nature, whether hiking or snowshoeing.
