The Eggen Chapel is nestled between the mountains of the Simplon and the old stone huts of the hamlet of "Egga". The chapel is in honour of St. John the Baptist.

The Eggen Chapel can be reached by bus as well as by car. Take the bus over the Simplon Pass to the "Egga" stop.
At 1400 - 1500 m. above sea level, it can get chilly. Visit the chapel with the appropriate clothing.
