In 1944, the first Capuchins settled in Brig-Glis and founded the Capuchin monastery in the same year. After the Capuchins left, the Capuchin church in Brig-Glis was transferred to a foundation. However, the church is still available for spiritual events in a Christian spirit, also thanks to the renovation work carried out in 2010.
